Welcome to Demons Basketball! Coach Vullo and his staff are excited to help you connect with our program and coaches.
The first step to establishing your connection with the GHS Boys Basketball Program is to get your player registered in TeamSnap. We use TeamSnap as our primary communication tool, so you will need to register in TeamSnap to stay informed about future events and opportunities (i.e. Open Gym Times, Tryout Dates/Times, etc.). Note: We have found that certain web browsers work better than others (for example, Safari works great, but Google Chrome does not. If you have issues, please try a different browser).
General Information About the Program:
Boys Basketball is a cut sport; no player trying out is guaranteed a spot on a roster/team.
GHS Boys Basketball tryouts are in mid-November.
GHS Boys Basketball has three levels/teams: Varsity, Junior Varsity (JV), and Level 3 (L3).
The varsity season runs from mid-November through early March. The JV and L3 season starts in mid-November and ends in mid-February.
See the Master Calendar page for an overview of the 2024 - 2025 season. Thanksgiving week is typically very busy. The Winter Holiday has a few days off. In general, basketball season is basketball every day, excluding Sundays but including occasional Saturdays.
Prior to the season, the coach's may organize open gyms to give players the opportunity to play and get in shape.
